Explore Human Planning via a Two-Player Board Game

Description

How do humans plan in complex circumstances? We investigate this by using the two-player board game Four-in-a-Row to study human behavior and develop computational models of the planning process. Apart from the research itself, we find that quantifying the strategies participants can or do use is essential yet unclear for experimental design and model fitting. To address this, we develop a plug-and-play toolkit to tackle this problem.
